K-Ché Valencia: a Long-Running Latin Club in the Grao and Its Sunday Viejoteca
· Updated:
K-Ché is a Latin club in the Grao district of Valencia, Spain, at Calle de l'Arquitecte Alfaro 4, that has been running for 17 years: salsa, bachata and merengue from Thursday to Sunday, from 11:30pm to 7am, plus La Viejoteca, a Sunday session that starts at 7pm.

Seventeen years of Latin nights
K-Ché calls itself “the most traditional” Latin club in Valencia in its Instagram bio, and in September 2026 it celebrated its 17th anniversary with a post of its own. Whether it is the most traditional is for regulars to argue, but 17 years is a long run for a club, and the account has around 12,100 followers, one of the largest among the city's Latin venues. The guide salir.com (July 2026) describes it as a Latin room “full of glamour and good rhythm”.
Music: salsa, bachata and merengue
Directory listings tag it as a salsa, bachata and merengue club, and that is the core of the programme. It is a place to dance in pairs, not a reggaeton club with a salsa hour. If you are learning, you will find people who dance properly; if you have never danced salsa, you will still enjoy watching and trying.
La Viejoteca on Sundays
The best-known night is La Viejoteca, which salir.com lists as a weekly Latin party on Sundays from 7pm to 7am. In Latin American slang a viejoteca is a party of classic tunes for an older crowd, and the early start makes it one of the few Sunday options in Valencia that begins in the evening rather than after midnight. If you are looking for a Sunday night out, our guide to going out during the week covers the other options.

If you like K-Ché
Sunday is a good day for salsa in Valencia. Besides La Viejoteca, Committee, the club on San Vicente Mártir 200 next to the AVE station, hosts Supersalseros on Sundays from 5:30pm to 00:30, according to its agenda for October 2026. On Fridays and Saturdays, La 57 in Patraix bills itself as the home of salsa and crossover, and runs a dance school in the afternoons if you want to get your steps in shape first.
Prices, age and getting there
We have no published door price or age rule for K-Ché, so we won't make one up: bring ID, and ask us if you want to know the conditions for a specific night. The club is in the Grao, the port side of the city, so from the centre you will want a taxi or public transport. Near the seafront you also have Akuarela Playa and Marina Beach Club, if the group splits between salsa and something more commercial.
