Club Gordo is Valencia's Friday techno party, held at PROYECTO/, a club at Calle de la Sang 9, a few steps from Plaza del Ayuntamiento in the old town of Valencia, Spain. It plays techno, EBM and electro, has a strict "no phones on the dancefloor" rule and celebrates its 12th anniversary on Friday 23 October 2026 with Bas Mooy. PROYECTO/ is at C/ de la Sang 9 (46002), in Ciutat Vella, a short walk from Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Being right in the centre, you can walk from almost anywhere in the old town or Ruzafa.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Its Xceed listings say "come as you are" and 18+. The house rule is no phones on the dancefloor, so put it away once you're in. Bring ID.
Twelve years of Club Gordo
Club Gordo is a party rather than a building, and it has been going for twelve years: its 12th anniversary falls on Friday 23 October 2026. Today it lives at PROYECTO/, a club on Calle de la Sang whose Instagram bio reads "every Friday: Club Gordo, Grasa and more". The sound is techno, EBM and electro, darker and more industrial than the house clubs of Ruzafa, and its Xceed listings carry the LGTBIQ+ tag. The party has a clear rule, written in its own Instagram bio: no phones on the dancefloor. With more than 23,000 followers, it has a loyal crowd that comes for the music and the atmosphere rather than the photos. PROYECTO/ also hosts other one-off nights: on Sunday 11 October 2026 it had Derrick May with David Verdeguer.
Upcoming Fridays (checked 20/10/2026)
The next two Fridays on Xceed on 20 October 2026 were the anniversary and a guest night. Friday 23 October: Club Gordo 12th anniversary with Bas Mooy, Finalversion3 and Vladimir Dynamo. Friday 30 October: Gordo x Hated with Remco Beekwilder, DJ Dome and Hanten. Before that, on Friday 16 October, it had Gordo x Volumens. That's the pattern: a resident crew plus guest DJs and joint nights with other techno parties such as Volumens and Hated. Nights start at 23:59. Line-ups are announced on Instagram and Xceed a week or two ahead, so if you're coming from out of town for a specific guest, check with us before you book the trip. Entry, guest list and house rules
Club Gordo is cheap for a night with international guests. In October 2026 entry with one drink cost €12, and with two drinks €16, both valid until 1:00. The guest list was free until 00:30, so the best plan is to get on the list and arrive early. Its Xceed listings are 18+ and say "come as you are": there is no dress code to worry about. The main rule is the phone one, no phones on the dancefloor, so expect to be asked to put it away if you start filming. Prices are orientative and come from listings checked in October 2026, and they can change on special nights like the anniversary. Getting there: Calle de la Sang, in the old town
PROYECTO/ is at C/ de la Sang 9, in Ciutat Vella, a few steps from Plaza del Ayuntamiento, right in the centre of Valencia. That makes it the most central techno club in the city: you can walk from the old town, the Carmen, the Estació del Nord or Ruzafa, and plenty of buses and metro stations are nearby until late. It's a good option if you're staying in the centre and don't want to take a taxi to Pinedo or Albal for techno. The area has bars and restaurants for dinner or a first drink before the doors open at midnight. On the way back, taxis are easy to find around the town hall square.
