“The home of crossover”

La 57's Instagram bio has two lines that tell you most of what you need: “the best Latin salsa in Valencia” and “the home of crossover”. Crossover is the mix you hear in many Latin clubs today, jumping between salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and pop within the same set. The guide salir.com (July 2026) lists salsa, bachata, merengue, mambo and rumba, and calls La 57 “the temple of rumba”. Directory listings also tag it with commercial music and reggaeton, so expect a mix rather than a purist salsa night.

Dance school by afternoon, club by night

What sets La 57 apart is the afternoon life: according to salir.com, in the afternoons it is a dance school “for people of all ages”. That makes it an obvious place to practise if you are taking salsa or bachata classes, and a good choice if you want a night that is about dancing rather than standing at the bar.

Hours, price and age

La 57 does not publish club hours, door prices or an age rule in the sources we have checked (October 2026), so we will not invent them. Its Instagram, with around 5,900 followers and its latest post on 16 October 2026, is where it announces each weekend. Bring ID, and for the dance classes ask the school directly; the club nights are what we can help with.

Getting there

Campos Crespo is in Patraix, a residential district south-west of the centre. It is not a nightlife zone, so La 57 is a destination in itself rather than a stop on a bar crawl. Room Club, on San Vicente Mártir 305, is in the same part of the city if part of the group prefers reggaeton. For the rest of the salsa and bachata clubs, see our Latin clubs guide.

If La 57 becomes your Friday or Saturday, two other options round off the week for dancing in pairs: K-Ché in the Grao, open from Thursday to Sunday with its Viejoteca on Sunday from 7pm, and the Supersalseros Sunday sessions at Committee on San Vicente Mártir 200, from 5:30pm to 00:30 (October 2026 agenda).
