Akuarela Playa Valencia: Winter Nights and the 80s-90s Afternoon Party

Yes, Akuarela Playa stays open after the summer: in autumn 2026 it opens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 23:59 to 07:30, plus an 80s, 90s and 2000s tardeo on Saturday afternoons. It's a seafront club on Malvarrosa beach in Valencia, Spain, run by Grupo Salamandra.

A terrace-club right on the beach

Akuarela is at Calle d'Eugènia Viñes 152, on the Malvarrosa seafront. Grupo Salamandra describes indoor spaces, private areas, colonial-style furniture and a garden area; salir.com counts three rooms going from commercial music to electronic, and the club's Instagram has shown a 'Terraza Jarana' among its spaces. The bio calls it the most fun seafront terrace in Valencia. In practice it works as a terrace in the warm months and moves more of the night indoors as the weather turns.

Which nights it opens in autumn and winter

Summer 2026 was 'seven nights, seven parties', as the club put it in August, and in September its posts kept stretching the season. The autumn agenda, from 22 October to 6 November, has Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 23:59 to 07:30, plus the Saturday tardeo from 17:00 to 23:59. Some guides still say Akuarela only opens from June to September; that's outdated text, and the October and November dates prove it. What we haven't been able to confirm is the schedule from December to March, so if you're planning a winter night, message us first.

The 80s, 90s and 2000s tardeo

On Saturdays the day starts at 17:00 with the '80's, 90's y 2 mil' tardeo, a remember session that runs until midnight, when the night crowd takes over. In October 2026 entry was €16 with a drink, free between 17:00 and 18:00. It's a different crowd from Thursday's: people who grew up with that music and come for the afternoon by the sea. Note that the tardeo ticket isn't valid for the night session.

Student Thursdays

Thursday is the student night: Erasmus agendas list it as 'Perreo Universitario', and the venue's own listing for Thursday 22 October advertised free entry on the guest list until 01:00, a €5 discount after that and a free beer for the first 100, with an international ID. That night the advance ticket was €16 with a drink until 01:30.

The building: from Tropical to ACTV to Akuarela

Akuarela sits in a building with a lot of nightlife history. According to valenciabonita, it's the old Termas Victoria building on what is now Eugènia Viñes, where Tropical used to be and where ACTV opened in 1986, one of the clubs of the Ruta del Bakalao years. ACTV closed long ago; Akuarela occupies the site today.

Age and dress code

Discoruta gives casual or smart-casual depending on the session, and some nights may turn away sportswear. On age, the venue doesn't publish a single rule: Discoruta lists New Year's Eve as 18+, and for other nights we haven't found a published minimum, so bring your ID and ask us before going if someone in the group is under 18. For New Year's Eve 2026, Akuarela was listed from €25 with a drink, from 23:59 to 07:30; Halloween on 31 October was €21.

For groups, the venue lists booths (box, club, main room and terrace) from €150, with the main area for the Saturday tardeo from €300. Marina Beach Club is a short walk away along the same stretch of coast if you want to compare.
