Clubbing Age in Valencia: +18, +21 and Afternoon Sessions

In Valencia, Spain, almost every club is 18+, and some move to 21+ on certain nights: Committee and Oven on Fridays and Saturdays, Havana on Friday nights and Jagger on Saturday nights. For under-18s there are special afternoon sessions, which the Valencian timetable order for 2026 limits to 17:00–22:00 in authorised venues. Below is the rule and a venue-by-venue table with the age each club published for each night in October 2026.

The short answer: what the rules say

Two texts matter. The first is Law 14/2010 of the Generalitat on public shows and venues. Its article 34 bans under-18s from casinos, bingo halls and gaming arcades with cash prizes, and from venues showing activities not rated for minors. It allows under-16s into concert halls and live music with a parent's or guardian's authorisation (under-14s must go with them). For everything else it says entry and stay depend on the organiser's right of admission, and that minors can't remain once the performance is over. Article 34.2 is very clear on one thing: no alcohol may be sold or served to anyone under 18.

The second is Order 3/2025 of the Conselleria de Emergencias e Interior, which sets the 2026 opening hours (DOGV no. 10266, 22 December 2025). Its article 4 says venues authorised to hold special sessions for minors can start at 17:00 and must finish by 22:00, and must then stay closed for at least an hour before any ordinary session. Article 11 adds that gigs with under-16s in the audience must end by 2:30. Outside those special sessions, each club sets its minimum age through its right of admission, and in practice that means 18, with some nights at 19 or 21.

Age by club and night

Two things to keep in mind. The age is set per night and per party, not per club, so the same venue can be 18+ on Thursday and 21+ on Saturday. And not every venue publishes it: we found no stated age for Picca, the Latin clubs or Chocolate, so ask before you go.

Which clubs are 21+

Committee, at San Vicente Mártir 200, is 21+ on Friday and Saturday nights from 23:59. Havana, on Plaza Cánovas, labels its Friday night 'elegant vibes, 21+ crowd', while its Saturday tardeo is 18+. Oven, the house club at Gran Vía de les Germanies 31, goes 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays. Jagger, on Gran Vía Marqués del Túria, is 21+ on Saturday nights. Indiana sits in between with a 19+ Friday. If your group mixes ages, Thursday is the safest night: Committee and Oven are 18+ that day.

Events for under-18s

Teen events exist, but they're one-offs announced by the venue or promoter. For Halloween 2026, JOY Multiespacio in Albal announced a 'Sinners Halloween Festival' from 17:00 to 21:30 for 14+, and a 'Reaper House' night from 00:30 to 07:00 for 16+. Multiespacio Canal in Pinedo had a Halloween festival for 16 to 20-year-olds on 31 October. Remember the legal frame: no alcohol for under-18s, and afternoon sessions for minors end at 22:00.

Room Club's 17+ Friday

Room Club, the former Cream at San Vicente Mártir 305, is the one exception below 18 that we found in a regular night listing: its Friday 'Ídolo Club' page says 17+, and Discoruta notes it can be 17+ or 18+ depending on the event. Remember that article 34.2 still applies: nobody under 18 can be served alcohol.

Bring ID

If a night is 18+ or 21+, the door staff need to see proof of age, so take an ID card or passport with your photo. Some promotions spell it out: Akuarela's guest list in October 2026 offered a free beer to the first 100 with an international ID. Beach clubs add their own rules, too: Marina Beach Club is 18+ for both club and pool.
