Valencia Club Opening Hours: What Time Clubs Open and Close (2026)

In Valencia, Spain clubs may open from 17:00 to 07:30 and pubs until 03:30 (04:00 if the City Council extends it), under Orden 3/2025, the regional opening-hours order for 2026 published in DOGV no. 10266 on 22 December 2025. Bars and restaurants close by 01:30. On New Year's Eve venues get 90 extra minutes, and on 31 October, 24 December, 5 January and 8 October they get 60.

The legal limits aren't set by each club or by the city: in the Valencia region the Generalitat publishes an order every year for every type of venue, and each club fits its hours inside it. Below is what the 2026 order says, the dates with extended hours, and the hours each club actually published for October 2026.

Quick answer: the 2026 rules

Two details explain how Valencia goes out. Clubs can open from 17:00, which is why tardeos in clubs start at five in the afternoon. And bars must close at 01:30 and pubs at 03:30, so the crowd moves to the clubs between midnight and 01:00. Under-18 sessions can only run from 17:00 to 22:00, and the venue must then stay closed for at least an hour before its normal session.

Dates with extended hours

The extensions apply to every type of venue in the order, so pubs and bars also get the extra time on those dates. Fallas and other popular festivities are different: the hours of the street parties are set by the City Council (article 5), not by this order.

Are there afters in Valencia?

Not as a legal category. The order has no 'after-hours' type of venue, and clubs must close by 07:30 (or later only on the special dates above). La Matina, on Calle Dénia, presents itself as a Sunday-morning day club for members only; it isn't a venue we sell and it has no page here.

Summer, beach and port

There's no separate summer timetable for clubs: the 07:30 limit applies all year. What changes is the beach: bars and restaurants on the coast or in the port can open from 10:00 to 04:00 if the City Council declares it (article 2.3). Marina Beach Club says its club runs from 17:30 to 03:30 from January to June and from 18:30 to 03:30 from June to December, and Akuarela Playa publishes 07:30 closings for its autumn nights.

The rules change every year

Orden 3/2025 only covers 2026. It was published on 22 December 2025, so the order for 2027 is expected around December 2026, and until then the 2027 hours aren't known. If it changes anything, the new limits apply from 1 January 2027.
