Fallas 2027 at Night: Street Parties, Clubs and Where to Go (15–19 March)

· Updated:

The Fallas 2027 in Valencia, Spain are expected to peak from 15 to 19 March, with Friday 19 March (Saint Joseph's Day) a regional holiday and street parties, the verbenas, planned for 13 March and every night from the 15th to the 18th. Those verbena dates were announced by the City Council's Fallas councillor in April 2026; the hours and the final programme depend on the 2027 Bando, which the City Council hasn't issued yet.

This guide is about the night: when the verbenas are, which clubs stay open afterwards and how to move around a city that closes half its centre to traffic. We mark clearly what's confirmed and what's still a forecast.

Verbenas and DJ street parties

The verbenas are the open-air parties each falla runs in its own street, usually with a DJ or a band under a marquee. For 2027 the City Council's Fallas councillor announced them for 13, 15, 16, 17 and 18 March, and the tardeos on the same days. It doesn't give hours. As a reference, in 2026 the night verbenas ran from 22:00 to 04:00 according to Valencia Bonita, with a limit of five days per falla. The 2027 Bando will set the final rules, and 2027 will be the first year without the mojito stands.

Under the regional rules, the hours of popular festivities in the street are set by the City Council, not by the general opening-hours order (article 5). That's why verbena hours change every year and only appear in the Bando.

Mascletàs: the 14:00 ritual

The mascletà is a daytime display of firecrackers, more about noise and rhythm than light. In the 2026 official programme there was one every day from 1 to 19 March at 14:00 in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, and the advance of the 2027 Bando keeps that traditional period of daily mascletàs from 1 to 19 March. The square fills up well before 14:00, so get there early. In 2026 there were also night fireworks at 23:59 on several days in the run-up. The 2027 times will be in the official programme.

Nit del Foc and the Cremà

The Nit del Foc is the biggest fireworks display of the Fallas, and the advance of the 2027 Bando puts it on Thursday 18 March; in 2026 it started at 23:59 at the Puente de Monteolivete. The 19th ends with the Cremà, when the monuments are burned: in 2026 the children's fallas burned at 20:00, the big ones from 22:00 and the Plaza del Ayuntamiento falla at 23:00. The 2027 timetable is still to be published. If you want the night of the 18th, see the fireworks and then go on to a verbena or a club: it's the last verbena night and the next day is a holiday.

Where to keep going after the verbena

Verbenas end hours before the clubs do, so there's still time for a club afterwards. MYA at the City of Arts, Committee, Indiana and Room Club on San Vicente Mártir, and Spook in Pinedo on Saturdays keep their usual nights, and under the 2026 rules clubs can stay open until 07:30 (the 2027 order comes out in December 2026). As of October 2026 none had published a Fallas 2027 party. Akuarela Playa opens in autumn, but we have no source yet on whether it stays open through to March.

Walking and public transport are the way to go. In 2026 Metrovalencia ran uninterrupted service for seven days during Fallas, according to Última Hora; the 2027 plan hasn't been announced. If you're a UPV student, the university calendar gives 17 to 19 March 2027 off.

What's still pending for 2027

  • The 2027 Bando: it confirms the verbena days, their hours and the traffic closures.
  • The official programme: the times of the mascletàs, the Nit del Foc and the Cremà.
  • The opening-hours order for 2027, expected around December 2026, which sets the clubs' closing time.
  • Metro and EMT plans for Fallas week.
  • Fallas parties in clubs: none had been announced as of October 2026.

Tips for a Fallas night

Agree on a meeting point before you go out, because the centre is packed and phone signal can struggle in the crowds. Wear comfortable shoes: you'll walk between verbenas, and with the centre closed to traffic, taxis can't get everywhere. If you want a table or a guest list for the night of the 18th, book early, since the next day is a holiday and it's one of the busiest nights of the year.
