Moon: indie and rock on San Vicente

Moon describes itself as a concert hall on Calle San Vicente 200, and Grupo Salamandra, the group behind MYA and Akuarela, lists it among its venues. Its autumn 2026 programme leans to indie and rock: Teenage Fanclub, Mercury Rev and Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, the last one on 30 October.

Loco Club and 16 Toneladas: rock and small rooms

Loco Club, at Calle Erudito Orellana 12, is a rock and live music venue with gigs usually at 20:30; in mid-October 2026 it hosted two nights of Will Hoge. 16 Toneladas, at Calle Ricardo Micó 3 near the Torres de Quart, holds 250 to 300 people and books rock, punk and soul; it had a gig scheduled for 21 November 2026. Both are the kind of room where you see a band up close and then head out for a drink nearby.

Matisse Club: gigs, clubbing and Sunday jazz

Matisse Club, at Calle Campoamor 60 between Benimaclet and Algirós, has been doing live music since 1996, by its own account. Its weekly pattern is clear: alternative nights on Thursdays, gigs, parties and clubbing on Fridays and Saturdays, and classical, flamenco and jazz on Sundays. It's the best answer we have to 'where is there jazz in Valencia', and it's close to the student area of Blasco Ibáñez if you want to carry on.

Radio City and Peter Rock Club: El Carmen

Radio City, at Calle Santa Teresa 19 in El Carmen, opens every day with gigs, jam sessions, flamenco, DJs and art; in August 2026 it ran free DJ sessions from the 6th to the 31st. Peter Rock Club, at Calle Quart 26, is a concert hall and rock bar with karaoke and DJ sessions. El Carmen is a neighbourhood of music bars rather than big clubs, and these two venues are among its fixed addresses.

Gig and club in one: La3, Zulú Klub and JOY

Three venues with their own page on this site combine gigs and club nights. La3 Club, at Avenida de Blasco Ibáñez 111, calls itself 'club and concert hall' and opens every night, with two rooms. Zulú Klub, in Aldaia, is a concert hall and night club for underground music with a social commitment, with room for 400; in October 2026 it hosted a metal festival and a dub night. JOY Multiespacio in Albal mixes gigs, events and club nights.

Big stages and outdoor gigs

For bigger shows, the Marina Sur auditorium in the port hosted Charlotte de Witte on 31 October 2026. La Pérgola de la Marina runs Saturday-morning gigs in autumn (from 31 October to 19 December 2026). In summer, the Concerts de Vivers in the Viveros gardens are the city's big series: in 2026 they ran from 2 to 25 July.

What time do gigs finish?

Valencia's 2026 timetable order (Order 3/2025) puts concert halls in group A: they can open from 10:00 and close after the last session, which must start by 01:05 at the latest, and doors must open between 15 and 30 minutes before the show. Gigs with under-16s in the audience must end by 2:30, and under Law 14/2010 under-16s need a parent's or guardian's authorisation (under-14s must go with them). After that, the clubs can stay open until 07:30.
